Beacon Street Shooting, 04/07/2020

On April 7th, 2020 at approximately 16:21 hours Boston Police Officers from Area A-1 responded to calls for a person shot in the area of (37) Beacon Street and Joy Street, just blocks alway from the MA State House. Boston EMS as well as Massachusetts State Police responded you the location as well. The adult male was found with what appeared to be a gun shot would to the leg and was transported to local area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. BPD Commissioner Gross as well as District Commander Captain Fong and BFS Captain Danilecki and others were present at the scene. Gross updated the media around 17:30 hours, explaining the victim was believed to have come from the Soldiers and Sailors Monument on Boston Common where a crime scene was held for a short while, he also said there were no arrests at this time and it was still an active investigation.
