Cardiac Arrest with ROSC, 04/06/2020

In the early morning of April 6th, 2020, Boston EMS A17, P5, Tango 2 and the Division 3 supervisor, Boston Fire Engine 42 and Boston Police responded to Centre Street in Jamaica Plain for a Cardiac Arrest. Firefighters who were first on scene reported a working arrest with CPR in progress. As is standard procedure now because of the coronavirus pandemic, EMTs and Paramedics donned their full PPE which includes a ridged face shield, gloves, masks, gowns and more. Because of the quick response and hard work, crews were successful able to gain ROSC by the time they loaded the patient into the truck. Strong work by all involved, especially with the added protective equipment! Thank you for your dedication to keeping this city safe and healthy!
