B-3 Units Apprehend Driver After Low-Speed Pursuit

At about 23:40 hours Boston Police Officers from District B-3 spotted a male subject operating a suspect vehicle from an earlier armed robbery BOLO out of Dedham. The operator of the vehicle also matched one of the suspect descriptions of the men who robbed the store at gunpoint.

Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, activating their lights and siren, however the vehicle refused to stop, leading Officers on a low-speed pursuit for a number of blocks before the operator somehow crashed into a street sign and retaining wall. The suspect then proceeded to flee on foot from the area however was quickly caught by responding units.

The male suspect, who has been identified as 20-year-old Trequan Clagon of Mattapan, was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license and failure to stop for a police officer. At this time it is unknown if this subject is intact connected to the Dedham incident, Dedham Police were unable to confirm his involvement but did say that no suspects had been arrests in connection to the armed robbery.
