West Rox 2-Alarm Fire Leaves 4 Displaced

This morning at approximately 08:29 hours Boston Fire Fighters assigned to Engine 55 were alerted to a fire at a nearby house at 5083 Washington Street in West Roxbury. The Firefighters quickly alerted Fire Alarm and Box 2978 was struck.

The fire eventually turned into a 2-Alarm fire before the blaze was knocked down. No injuries were reported thankfully and only 4 people were displaced. Damages are estimated to be approximately $200,000 with BFD-FIU investigating the possible cause. Thank you to our affiliate Hook & Irons Fire Photography for providing us these incredible images.
