Dorchester Homicide Memorial Scene of Gunfire Saturday Night

Late Saturday night, approximately 23:00 hours, Boston Police Officers assigned to District C-11 responded to the area of Norton Street and Stonehurst Street in Dorchester for the reports of shots fired. This intersection was the same intersection where Felicity Coleman was gunned down in cold blood last July and is the current place of her memorial.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation for that area and found no victims or suspects in the general vicinity. They began to canvas the scene, locating multiple shell casings in the streets. District detectives were called to the scene to process evidence.

The investigation is still ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time. No further information is available at this time.
