Saturday April 24th, just before 16:00 hours, an off-duty firefighter called in a fire in Roslindale. Boston Fire immediately responded to 61 Cliffmont Street, and struck Box 2658, in Roslindale.
Smoke was showing from the rear of the house, and a second alarm was struck due to severe conditions on the second floor of the house. Boston Firefighters quickly tackled the blaze and were able to overhaul the fire.

No injuries were reported, however there were 5 people displaced. Damages were estimated to be at least $100,000. Red Cross of Massachusetts assisted the residents with shelter. At this time the cause of the fire is still under investigation by Boston FIU.
