Investigation Update From The Boston Police:
On Monday, April 28, 2021, members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit arrested Andy Febres, 22, of Jamaica Plain in Revere on an outstanding Roxbury District Court warrant for Accessory After the Fact of Murder.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the original incident are as follows:
At about 7:46 PM on Friday, September 18, 2020, officers assigned to District D-4 (South End) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of Hammond Street and Westminster Street in Roxbury.
Upon arrival, officers located three adult male victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The three victims were transported to local area hospitals, two with non-life-threatening injuries and one with life-threatening injuries. The victim suffering life-threatening injuries later succumbed to his injuries. That victim was later identified as Dennis Mejia, 43, of Boston.
