Teenage Scooter Rider Launches Himself Through SUV Window After Collision With Parked Car

Last night at approximately 19:30 hours, Boston Police and Boston EMS received calls for an accident involving a scooter and a parked car that left a teenage male seriously injured in the area of Norfolk Street in Dorchester.

Boston Police and Boston EMS arrived to find that the rider, a male in his early teens, had driven directly into the back of a parked car without a helmet, launching him off the bike and through the SUV’s back window, leaving his leg seriously mangled among other minor injuries.

The teen was screaming and crying out in pain, and EMS ultimately transported him to a local area hospital where he was treated for his injuries. He is expected to recover, although his condition has not been updated since. No further information is available at this time.
