Late last night, officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation indicating eight rounds discharged in the area of Westville and Ditson Streets. An investigation of the area lead to the recovery of spent ammunition. No further information was released.
Worth mentioning, minutes prior to this ShotSpotter activation, 9-1-1 received reports of a person stabbed at a residence about a block away from the location. It is unknown at this time if the incidents are related.
