On Wednesday, November 10, at approximately 22:40 hours, Boston officers responded to an area hospital for reports of a walk-in gunshot wound victim. On arrival, officers spoke to a 13 year old male whom was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the legs. The victim identified the crime scene as Wood Avenue.
The victim was reportedly walking home from the bus stop with his 12 year old friend when the shooting occurred. The friend told officers a vehicle pulled up to them and began yelling “where are y’all from,†before opening fire when the boys wouldn’t answer. A resident near the shooting location heard the boys screaming for help, and transported the victim to the hospital. He is expected to survive.
