On Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at approximately 21:45 hours officers from District E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to the Fairmount MBTA Station on Maple Street for reports of a person shot.
The victim was located, and transported by Boston EMS to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The victim has now been identified as Noel Jimenez, 30, of Hyde Park.
The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
