On Saturday, January 8, 2022 at approximately 00:30 hours, officers from District D4 along with Boston Fire, Boston EMS, Transit Police, and Massachusetts State Police responded to the area of Huntington Avenue for reports of a car on the MBTA tracks, next to the turnpike.
It appears a confused elderly driver drove along the tracks before getting stuck in the snow. Arriving personnel assisted in getting the driver to safety. The car was towed from tracks, and the scene was cleared. No further information has been released at this time.
