At about 6:10 AM on Friday December 10, 2021, officers assigned to the District C-6 (South Boston) and District B-2 (Roxbury) Drug Control Units, working in coordination with the BPD SWAT Team, arrested Diego Pomales, 27, of Roxbury following the execution of search warrants sought out of Roxbury District Court in the area of 15 Codman Park in Roxbury.
As a result, officers were able to safely recover a loaded .40 caliber Taurus handgun, dozens of rounds of both .40 caliber and .45 caliber ammunition, approximately 4 lbs. of marijuana, 18 Oxycodone pills, two digital scales as well as a money counter and $12,987 in U.S. Currency.
The suspect was placed in custody without incident and will appear in Roxbury District Court on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B and D Drugs.
