Boston Fire Renders Aid to Lynn During Catastrophic Fire

At 11:36 hours on Saturday, April 2, 2022 companies from the Boston Fire Department responded to Lynn, Massachusetts to render mutual aid.

The Lynn Fire Department was battling a four alarm structure fire at 30 Broadway Street, with a two alarm brush/forest fire. As a result, the Massachusetts Forestry Taskforce along with the Massachusetts State Police Fire Investigation unit were activated. At one point, the State Police Airwing went up to assess the blaze.

Multiple area towns and cities sent fire crews to assist in tackling the flames. This collaboration of agencies lead to the fire finally being extinguished. Sadly, the displaced family suffered a total loss of property. A GoFundMe has been set up for them, and can be found here.
